Custom Coloured Premium Scratch Resistant Splashbacks

Our premium kitchen splashbacks are spray painted allowing you to explore an infinite range of colours. Whether you want to match your existing kitchen décor or experiment with bold new hues, this splashback is your chance to add your unique personality and style to your home.

Our premium splashbacks are made from hard-coated scratch-resistant polycarbonate with your colour choice painted onto the back for a uniform finish. These can be used to protect your kitchen or bathroom walls from splashes. Whilst they are practical, they can also be cleverly used as part of your interior design to add some character to your room. The painted side should be attached to the wall using a suitable adhesive, ensuring that the clear, glossy side faces outward. This not only protects the painted surface but also creates a smooth, easy-to-clean finish that will look pristine for years to come.

Polycarbonate sheets are durable, food safe and resistant to mild chemicals, meaning that when these splashbacks are placed in a kitchen, they are easily cleanable and maintainable with just a microfibre cloth and some soapy water. In addition to being shatterproof - our premium splashbacks are a safer choice than glass in the home, and will also keep their colour and will not deteriorate with age. They are also very lightweight, and despite their strength, easy to fit and install. Premium splashbacks can be fitted by either drilling them into the wall or by using an appropriate adhesive to glue it securely to the surface.

We cut your premium splashback to your exact requirements ensuring a perfect fit when it comes to installation. Due to the colour, you can’t cut our premium range at home, instead, we can save you time and effort and can do all your cutouts for you. Whether you need holes for light switches, sockets, notches or pipework, we can help. You can use our handy visualiser to add your cutouts to create the required shape or use one of our handy templates to add your measurements to.

A Flawless Painted Finish

For a flawless finish, the colour on our premium splashbacks is spray painted by expert sprayers with 20+ years of experience. We've learnt from many years of digital printing that spray painting is the future of coloured splashbacks. There are no visible printing lines that are inevitable with a printed splashback. When the clear polycarbonate is spray painted the result is a perfectly even finish that looks flawless. We recommend you order a sample to not only see the finish but also to ensure you get the perfect colour.

Please note

It can be very difficult to cut our premium splashbacks yourself at home. Therefore we recommend you add any cut-outs required for sockets or light switches when ordering so that these can be done using our specialised equipment prior to your delivery. You can do this by uploading the measurements for the cutouts onto one of our online templates, or by sending us an email so that our customer service team can help you.

What’s the difference between regular acrylic and premium scratch-resistant splashbacks?

Our matt and gloss acrylic splashbacks are quality coloured acrylic sheets provided by Perspex®. This acrylic is a solid colour right the way through, there is a limited colour selection. Our premium scratch-resistant splashback is made from a hard-coated polycarbonate which is spray painted on one side to make it look just like glass.

We recommend ordering a sample to check the colour in the final location as screens can display colours differently. If you can’t find the correct colour or are trying to match a specific paint, RAL or Pantone colour get in touch and we can create a custom sample for you.

Are scratch resistant splashbacks heat resistant?

Our scratch-resistant splashback panels melt at high temperatures or from exposure to direct flames. Please see the above table to see if you can use this type of splashback behind your hob. Alternatively, you can take a look at our glass kitchen splashbacks which can be placed behind any hob.

How do you clean a hard-coated scratch resistant splashback?

Keeping your scratch-resistant splashback panels clean and hygienic is easy, as all that is required is warm soapy water and a microfibre cloth. Only use household detergents, no high-alkaline cleaners. See above for full cleaning instructions.

Can you cut a custom hole for plug sockets?
