Premium Glass Splashbacks
Glass splashbacks are the perfect way to enhance the look of your home while adding a functional element at the same time. There are various applications where glass splashbacks are an effective use of the space, not just in kitchens but also bathrooms, utility rooms and commercial spaces as well. A cheaper and more manageable alternative to tiling, glass splashbacks are quick to install, cost-effective and come in a range of colours and finishes to provide you with plenty of decorative options.
Simply choose your colour, and we'll spray paint one side of the glass to create a vibrant, durable finish that shines through the entire piece. The painted side should be attached to the wall using a suitable adhesive, ensuring that the clear, glossy side faces outward. This not only protects the painted surface but also creates a smooth, easy-to-clean finish that will look pristine for years to come.
As with other materials such as metal or acrylic, glass splashbacks are ideal for use in kitchens and bathrooms as a way of protecting the walls from water splashes, cooking spills and moisture. One application where glass is a preferable option is as a cooker or hob splashback, as acrylic cannot be used in close proximity to gas hobs due to the heat tolerances and the damage that it can cause to the surface of the plastic. For homes where this is an issue, glass splashbacks are ideal as they can tolerate far higher temperatures without any concern of the splashback becoming damaged or cracking. Toughened glass can withstand temperatures of up to 220oC, so you can cook near it safely without the risk of it breaking.
The glass looks stylish and modern, so it’s perfect for adding a decorative touch to any home or business. Glass is easy to clean and is waterproof, so you don’t have to worry about kitchen spills or splashes damaging the walls of your home. Its smooth surface means that no bacteria or grease can build up in the grouting seams, as is the problem with tiled surfaces, so it’s a more hygienic option too. Glass is reflective and is effective at brightening up the room and giving the illusion of more space.
Please note, you cannot cut your Premium Glass Splashback yourself, so please add any required cutouts to your order.
