Benefits of a Green Splashback

Versatile Pairing

Whether you're aiming for a refreshing contemporary vibe or a vibrant and energetic atmosphere, incorporating green into your kitchen's aesthetic can achieve this. Green harmonises with a diverse spectrum of hues and materials, which facilitates endless design possibilities. Introducing a green splashback to wood textures can create a balanced and inviting atmosphere, or if you have a stainless steel kitchen, green splashbacks can add a pop of colour that softens the cool metallic tones to make it more inviting. They also contrast well with monochromatic kitchens such as black, grey or white to create a visually appealing dynamic.

Easy to Maintain

Green splashbacks are practical as well as aesthetically pleasing. They are easy to clean and maintain. Simply wiping them down after cooking is often all that you need to keep them looking good as new.

Colour Samples

Can’t decide on a colour? No problem, simply order a selection of samples so that you can see the colours in your kitchen. Colours can vary on screen and in different lighting so seeing the colour on a sample at home will help you in the decision-making process.

Splashbacks Behind a Hob

It is not recommended to use a Perspex® acrylic (Gloss and Matt Splashbacks), polycarbonate (Premium Splashbacks) or aluminium composite splashback behind open heat sources, such as a cooker. These materials can only tolerate temperatures of up to 80°C before discolouring and warping. Therefore, it is advised not to fit acrylic, polycarbonate or aluminium composite splashbacks behind an electric or gas hob. However, if you have an induction hob, you may place our Matt, Gloss and Premium Splashbacks behind it with a 50mm gap between the panel and the hob. Alternatively, for an aluminium composite splashback, a 150mm gap between the panel and hob is recommended behind an induction hob.

Our toughened glass splashbacks are the most suitable option to fit behind a heat source as they have high heat resistance.

Protective Backing

Our matt and gloss acrylic splashbacks can be distinguished by the extra layer of protection we add to the backing of the sheets.

This vinyl protective backing serves a dual purpose, not only does it conceal any adhesive applied during installation, but it also masks any wall irregularities that may exist. As a result, you've ensured a seamless and uniform aesthetic that remains untainted by the possibility of unsightly adhesive marks or lingering residue lurking behind the splashback. This is an additional measure we take with pride to guarantee the utmost superior results.
