Gloss Acrylic Splashbacks
Our gloss acrylic splashbacks are made from a solid high-quality sheet of Perspex® coloured acrylic . for use in the kitchen or bathroom to protect your walls from splashes of liquids, food and grease. While they are very practical, Splashbacks can also be used cleverly as part of your interior design adding character to your room. This glossy surface creates a reflective effect, adding depth and brightness to the kitchen space. The reflective properties of gloss acrylic splashbacks can make a small kitchen appear larger and more spacious, while also enhancing the overall aesthetics of the room.
Since they are impact resistant, our acrylic splashbacks are a safer choice than glass in the home, and will also keep their colour and will not deteriorate with age. They are also more lightweight than glass, despite their strength, so it is easy to fit and install with ease. You can fit out gloss acrylic splashbacks by either drilling them into the wall or using an appropriate adhesive to glue it securely to the surface. We vinyl our acrylic splashbacks to avoid any adhesive from showing through.
While glass and other materials may require more attention when it comes to cleaning, gloss acrylic sheets can be cleaned effectively with just warm soapy water and a microfibre cloth, so is perfect for a low-maintenance addition to your kitchen, bathroom or utility room where hygiene is important.
Our high gloss splashbacks are made to measure and cut to your specific requirements so that they fit perfectly when it comes to installation. You’ll save time and effort as there’s no need for any cutting or mess at home. We can even cut holes for all your sockets, switches and pipework. You can use our handy visualiser to add your cutouts to create the required shape or use one of our handy templates to add your measurements.

Protective Backing
Unlike many of our competitors, we take the extra step of adding a layer of vinyl to the back of our splashbacks for extra protection. Please do not peel this off - you will know if it is the protective film as it will have a blue sticker on it stating that it shouldn't be peeled off.
The vinyl backing on our splashbacks effectively conceals any adhesive you use during installation. You won't have to worry about any unsightly adhesive marks or residue showing through the acrylic sheet, as our vinyl backing offers a uniform and polished appearance. This allows you to enjoy the vibrant colours and beautiful patterns of our splashbacks without any distractions.

Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between gloss acrylic splashbacks and premium acrylic splashbacks?
This acrylic is a solid colour right the way through and is a very cost-effective high-quality solution however we have fewer options within the colour range.
Our Premium range of Splashbacks are developed by spray painting onto a clear acrylic sheet with your chosen colour. This allows us to create almost any colour imaginable using CMYK colour mixing. The main difference in the finished product is that with our premium polycarbonate splashback, you see through the clear Acrylic to the colour, this is why we refer to it as a glass look.
Both products create stunning results in the kitchen, bathroom or throughout the home. We recommend ordering a sample to check the colour in the final location as screens can display colours differently. If you can’t find the correct colour or are trying to match a specific paint, RAL or Pantone colour get in touch and we can create a custom sample for you.
Are acrylic splashbacks heat-resistant?
Acrylic splashback panels melt at high temperatures or from exposure to direct flames. The melting point for most Perspex® plastics is 80 degrees Celcius, so they cannot withstand extreme temperatures. We recommend using our glass splashbacks which will withstand any heat.
Can I put acrylic splashbacks behind a hob?
Not if it is gas or electric. You will need a gap of 50mm between an induction hob and the coloured acrylic sheet.
How do you fit a gloss acrylic splashback?
While we suggest you hire a professional to fit any of our splashbacks, it is possible to fit our splashbacks yourself. To do so, you will require an adhesive, and finish with a neutral cure silicone to seal along where your splashback meets the surface.
What is the difference between Glass and Acrylic Splashbacks?
Our Glass Splashbacks give a clearer light transmission allowing you to see the colour of the glass. They are traditional for splashbacks as they are able to withstand higher temperatures, though aren’t as shatter-resistant as acrylic splashbacks.
How do you clean an Acrylic Splashback?
Keeping your Acrylic Splashback panels clean and hygienic is easy to maintain, as all that is required is warm soapy water and a microfibre cloth.
Can you cut a custom hole for plug sockets?
We are able to accommodate many of the requirements you may need, meaning you can customise your splashback when ordering. For plug sockets, select the Cut-Outs option and explain where your plug socket is. You can also use our visualiser to check your specifications look correct.
