Details
When you’re designing your playroom area, making space for a mirror is an excellent way to make the space engaging, as well as to open up the room with light. This also aids children’s development as engaging with their reflection aids focus, interactivity and curiosity play.
Acrylic sheet mirrors are an ideal alternative to glass that offers the same clear reflection but is more lightweight and flexible allowing them to be easily fitted. Further to this, our acrylic sheet mirrors are also shatter-resistant, allowing them to be child-safe, unlike a traditional mirror that can break and cut.
Keeping your mirrored acrylic clean and hygienic is also easier to maintain than a mirror, as all that is required is warm soapy water and a microfibre cloth.
Our mirrored acrylic is also easier to install, only requiring either an appropriate drill bit or adhesive glue. We do recommend that if you are intending on getting the mirror to look flat, that it is backed on a strong surface, such as our 18mm MDF and for any mirrors larger than one metre squared, that the mirrored acrylic is ordered in 5mm.
