The fabric seal that came with your portable AC was never going to work. It sags, it gaps, and the velcro gives up the moment the wind picks up. Our acrylic seal is cut to the exact size of your window, with a hole in the exact size for your AC hose, so the cold air stays in, the hot air stays out, and you actually feel the difference. Renter-friendly, tool-free installation, and built to come down at the end of summer and go back up next year.

How to order

Important: You do not need the window adapter that came with your portable AC unit, only the hose is needed.

Measure the opening

Height and width of the open window gap in millimeters. Add 40mm to the height and width for the hook and loop tape which attaches to the window frame.

Add your hose cutout

Tick Yes, choose Circle, then enter your hose diameter — usually 130mm or 150mm. You do not need the adapter, simply put the hose through the hole.

Add hook & loop tape

Add enough hook & loop tape for the perimeter of your window - sold in 5m rolls. The perimeter is height + width x2.

As an infrequent DIYer I'm reluctant to invest my money in woodworking tools that I may only use once or twice. The ability to be able to get wood (or other sheet products) cut to the size you want and delivered to your door is a real boon. Speedy service and an easy order process make DIY a stress-free task. And they will also cut different shapes. I needed a rhombus for a particular project, and it was not a problem for them. Highly recommended.

The skirt type window seal that came with my air con unit, was sent flying out of the window along with my sanity! So I looked for a better solution and found "Cut My". Great website, I did get a little confused when trying to work out where to have the hole cut but as you can see I think I nailed it.
